Each profile keeps the class, weapon, skill, and talent relationships together so you can see what a choice unlocks before committing to it.

Mercenary

Mercenary

Mercenaries are a common sight on battlefields across the continent, known for their robust physical condition and combat skills. They frequently engage enemies up close, utilizing their proficiency in weapons like Hammer, Sword and Shield. Their exceptional abilities in head-on fights make them a versatile force, equally effective in solo battles or as part of a team.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer

Sorcerers wield complex spells and gestures to unleash forces far more devastating than conventional arms. Staffs are their preferred weapon. Beyond their formidable offensive power, different schools of spells boast a variety of magical abilities that can shield allies or enhance their combat effectiveness. However, Sorcerers are less adept at hand-to-hand combat and should steer clear of close engagements.

Seer

Seer

Devout followers of the Goddess of Life, Seers channel divine magic through prayer and sacred arts. They skillfully guide the life essence bestowed upon the world to heal the wounded, dispel afflictions, and shelter their allies. In these times of chaos, most Seers hold unwavering faith in the return of the gods, while a few mad heretics harbor resentment toward divine silence, drawing chaotic power from blasphemous acts.

Withered Knight

Withered Knight

These knights wield a greatsword to deal massive damage, or pick up a polearm and shield to maintain balanced offense and defense while supporting their allies. Once the most loyal and powerful Rose Knights of the Church, they were exiled after a grave failure. Tested by suffering, they rose as Withered Knights, upholding justice in the wastelands with the power of holy light.

How class choice changes a raid

A class in Mistfall Hunter determines which weapon families you can take into a raid, which active skills become legal, and which talent branches open as the character levels. A useful comparison follows those relationships from class to weapon, weapon to skill, and class to talent. A generic ranking cannot tell you whether a class suits the distance, risk, and team role you want to play.

The six current classes cover direct melee pressure, ranged control, spellcasting, stealth, support, and defensive counterplay in different ways. Mercenary and Withered Knight both fight at close range, but their weapon sets and talent constellations are not interchangeable. Sorcerer and Blackarrow both prefer distance, yet one works through a staff and several schools of magic while the other is built around archery, scouting, and positional advantage. Shadowstrix turns mobility and concealment into pressure, while Seer can move between protection, control, and offense through its paired weapon families and named paths.

Read weapons, skills, and talents together

Weapon compatibility determines which loadouts are legal. A skill that belongs to Hammer cannot be placed on a Staff or Bow setup, even when its effect sounds useful. Each class profile groups skills under the weapon family that enables them. This is faster than searching a flat skill list and avoids planning around an ability the chosen class cannot equip. For classes with two weapon families, both disciplines remain visible in one profile.

Talent branches add another set of conditions. Branches unlock at specific character levels, some nodes require another named node, and some options occupy an exclusive choice group. The database shows the 241 talents that appear in the playable branches. Older pages and build posts may mention talents that no longer belong to a current branch, so check that both the branch and its prerequisites still exist before trying to reproduce an old build.

What the numbers can tell you

The resource panel shows each class's base health, stamina where applicable, dodge energy, escape energy, healing flasks, and recovery values. These base values stay the same at the levels shown, so they are not an attribute-growth curve. Equipment, affixes, talents, active states, and mode-specific modifiers can change what you see in combat. Treat the panel as a starting profile, not a final damage or survivability calculator.

Treat the ten affixes associated with each class as starting points. Their value depends on the affix level, the item carrying it, sockets, other effects, and the plan for the raid. Use the list to understand the intended directions, then check whether each trigger and benefit fits your weapon and skill loop. This keeps the comparison tied to legal relationships and observable rules instead of unsupported damage claims or a one-size-fits-all tier list.
